Children's Classes

For young children we offer a special class, open to 3-6 year olds, which gives a fun and informal introduction to dance. 

Most of our children in the 6+ age group take part in Ballroom, Latin American and Rock 'n' Roll classes, alongside Freestyle (including Street Dance) - we always aim to keep the classes interesting and challenging, without leaving anyone behind. In addition all students have the option of being entered for IDTA Medal Tests to show off their skills and earn certificates and trophies - this is entirely optional though, with no pressure to take part, ever.

We also have a policy of inclusion for children with special or additional needs - please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss the specific needs of your child, so we can suggest the most appropriate class for them.

Following on from the Medal Tests, our Medal Presentation evenings give the children an opportunity to take part in, and perform, team dances irrespective of whether they have taken an examination; this is very popular as most children love to perform and be part of a ‘show'!

9:15am - Ages 3-6 - Fun Dance - £3.50

10am - Ages 7+ - Ballroom & Latin (inc. Beginners) - £4.50

11am - Ages 7+ - Freestyle - £4.50

12pm - Ages 7+ - Advanced Ballroom - £4.50

1pm - Ages 7+ - Advanced Latin - £4.50

All levels - 2 classes together for £7

Advanced - 2 classes together for £7 or 3 classes for £10.50
